The families talk first.
Every other platform models the candidates talking with a guardian watching over their shoulder. In practice, across most of this community, it runs the other way: the families vet each other, and the two of them meet only if that goes somewhere.
So we built the real order. A private channel between the two walis, no numbers exchanged, nothing visible to either candidate, until you both decide otherwise.
Three stages, forward only.
You ask
You open a channel with the other family's guardian. They see who you are and which candidate you are writing about, and nothing else about her.
They accept
The two of you talk for as long as you need. Neither candidate can see a single message, now or at any point afterwards.
You both agree
Only when both walis agree, and only with her own consent recorded against her name, do the two of them begin speaking.
Five things that are true throughout.
Enforced in the database and in permissions, not described in a help page and hoped for.
Not during, not after they are introduced. It is enforced on the guardian's identity, not on the conversation, so there is no state in which it opens up.
If something the other father said should reach her, you promote that message. It is copied into her thread with his name on it. Nothing else goes with it.
That is the point of the channel. Contact details are stripped automatically, so two families can talk properly without either committing to anything.
You may arrange, advise and be present. Acceptance is recorded against her, because her consent is a condition of the nikah itself and software should not blur that.
Every action a guardian takes is logged against your name and she can read the whole list at any time. Nothing about this is covert.
Consent stays hers.
You can open a channel, talk for a month, agree the conditions and agree the mahr. You cannot accept on her behalf. That action does not exist for a guardian account, and it is not a setting anyone can change.
Her consent is a condition of the marriage rather than a formality collected afterwards, so it is recorded against her name and at her own instruction. If that is inconvenient, it is inconvenient in exactly the way it is supposed to be.
Asked by guardians.
I am not the father. Can I still be the wali?
Yes. An elder brother, uncle or grandfather commonly acts where the father has passed or is not present, and the platform records the relationship rather than assuming one. Where a revert sister has no Muslim guardian, our counsellors can help arrange one properly.
Can I run this for more than one of my children?
Yes. One account holds a profile for each candidate with a shared wallet, and you switch between them from a bar at the top of every screen. They never appear in each other's search results.
Does she know I opened a channel?
Yes. She can see every channel, who it is with and what stage it has reached. She cannot read the messages, and neither can the other candidate, but nothing is hidden from her about the fact of it.
What if she says no after we have talked for weeks?
Then it stops, and that is the system working. Better that a family conversation ends than that she is presented with a decision already made. She can also close a channel herself at any point.
