Success stories

How it actually came together.

Not a photograph and a first name. The real timeline, the guardian’s view, how long it took, and the thing that nearly went wrong in each one.

There are no faces on this page and there never will be, whatever a couple agrees to. A wall of photographs is precisely what this platform argues against.

Five months from first interest to nikahBengaluru and HyderabadWali channel, then conditions, then a supervised meeting

Three weeks of the fathers talking, before either of them said a word

His father opened a channel with her father on a Tuesday evening. The first question was not about her education or her family's standing, it was about where the couple would live, because that was the thing his son actually needed settled.

They talked for three weeks. In that time neither candidate saw a single message, and neither knew more about the other than the profile showed. Her father shared two messages across to her: one about the son's work, one about his own view of the family.

When both fathers agreed, she was asked. She took four days and said yes. They met with both fathers present, twice, and the nikah was five months later.

The guardian’s view

“I did not want my daughter on a website at all. What changed my mind was that I spoke to the boy's father for three weeks before she spoke to anyone. That is how it was done for us.”

Her father
What nearly went wrong

Her stated condition was finishing her final year. His family assumed she would stop after the nikah. Because it was written down and answered in advance, it came up in week one rather than in month eight.

Nine months, including a pauseChennaiSearch, interest, question sets, then families

Her photograph was never on the platform, not once

A small community where reputation travels quickly, and where the family's main worry was not fraud but simply being seen to be looking. Her audience gate was set to Tamil Nadu, and her contacts list blocked everyone from their own masjid.

She sent three question sets before accepting anyone's interest. The one she eventually married had answered all twenty questions and asked eleven of his own.

She paused her profile for two months in the middle when a family matter came up. Nothing was lost and nobody was told why.

The guardian’s view

“Her photo was never on the site. Not once. The family that eventually proposed saw it after we had already met them, and only because we chose to show them.”

Her father
What nearly went wrong

An earlier conversation ended after two months over separate accommodation. She had not stated it as a condition at that point. She did afterwards, and the next conversation started with it settled.

Fourteen months across bothMumbai and PuneFamily account, one wallet, sibling blindness

One father, three profiles, two nikahs

An elder brother acting as wali for his sister after their father passed, while also looking for himself. Two profiles on one account, one wallet, and neither ever appearing in the other's search results.

He handled her interests, she handled her own acceptances. The split was set explicitly in the delegation settings and she could read every action he took on her behalf.

Her nikah was first, by four months.

The guardian’s view

“I am my sister's wali since our father passed. Three profiles, one login, and I could see every message. Nobody contacted her without it going through me first.”

Her elder brother
What nearly went wrong

He nearly sent an interest on her behalf to a family he had not vetted. The acting-as bar at the top of the screen was showing her name, which is the only reason he noticed before pressing it.

From the guardians

The people who took the most convincing.

“I did not want my daughter on a website at all. What changed my mind was that I spoke to the boy's father for three weeks before she spoke to anyone. That is how it was done for us.”
